ABOUT US
The word Tuscany alone seems to have a magical effect. Perhaps it is because it symbolizes much of what we miss too often: the sun, the wonderfully dreamy landscape with its gentle ridges, cypress avenues and olive groves, a life without hectic, the closeness to nature and last but not least the warmth and happiness of the people.
Our Podere La Lama estate is located in this idyllic landscape, which has largely retained its original character. Surrounded by dense forests, not far from the medieval village of Sassetta and away from the tourist flow, the lovingly renovated farmhouse built of natural stone stands on an area of 68,000 m². Olive grove, swimming pond and vegetable garden invite you to walk, linger and enjoy. The in-house olive oil and herbs, vegetables and fruit from the garden also culinary sweeten the vacation - a true oasis for rest and relaxation.
APARTMENTS
There are two holiday apartments on the upper floor of the country house. Both have a large, cozy living room with a fireplace. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable double beds. The marble bathrooms are equipped with a comfortable bathtub. The conveniently designed kitchens are richly equipped with cooking and eating utensils, as well as numerous spices.

Marina di Castagneto
a small seaside resort that can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Golfo di Baratti
is about 30 minutes away
(north of Piombino, with the medieval town of Populonia and the Etruscan necropolis).
To the north of here, the Parco di Rimigliano sandy beach stretches for several kilometers, bordered by thick macchia and pine forests. There is also a free space in the high season, without any hype.

The diverse cuisine attracts the longing for the senses with incomparable delights: whether fish and seafood on the coast, whether game and mushrooms in the hilltop villages, whether tender lamb or beef from the Maremma, freshly prepared and refined with vegetables and herbs, the recipient wins greatest respect for the much-vaunted Tuscan culinary art - and a fine wine from the region.
